Willie Mays

Baseball (Ages 9-10)

Welcome to the first of four divisions in our recreational boys’ baseball program designed for the passionate and growing talents of players ages 9-10!  Building upon the fundamental skills learned during our instructional divisions, the Willie Mays Division fosters a deeper understanding of the game, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Through spirited competition and supportive coaching, players learn the essence of strategy and teamwork, making each game a thrilling journey of development and camaraderie.  Our focus remains on creating a recreational space where fun and growth thrive within the spirit of baseball.

Division Details:

  • This League consists of boys who are ages 9 and 10 and  is the next step after Modified Pitch.

Modified Pitch - important info

If your child is 9 and would like a year in the modified pitch division, before going into the kid-pitch division, please register for their real age group, however, when the question pops up asking if they need a year in modified pitch - please be sure to select yes.

Refer to the 2024 Age Charts, before making adjustments, as they may actually be in the modified pitch division per the rules.

NHAA will use the 2024 Baseball Age Chart to determine division.

NHAA will automatically place your Player into the correct Division based on their date of birth.   Please see the 2024 Baseball Age Chart (linked) for more information!

*NHAA reserves the right to move girls into other divisions if registration does not support having multiple teams in each age division.
