NHAA 2020 Season Update-04/03/2020

The NHAA Board of Trustees is doing everything we can to get your children on the fields as soon as possible, while maintaining their safety.  The Board is meeting regularly to discuss the current situation.  As of now, the restrictions are set to lift May 1.

Current plan:

  • May 4 - Season to begin.  One week of practice and one week of scrimmages.  Regular season begins week of May 18 and ends mid to late July.
  • In the event the governor's restrictions are pushed out by two weeks, the start date will be May 18th with one week of practice and one week scrimmages. Regular season begins week of June 4th and ends late July.
  • If restrictions exceed the May 18th start date, the 2020 NHAA spring season will probably be canceled.
  • If the spring season is canceled, we will consider an NHAA fall league.  The Board understands that these are difficult times and would like to see everyone on the ball fields as soon as possible.

As always feel free to reach out to us with any questions, or concerns by email at playnhaa1@gmail.com

Any updates will be made on the NHAA website (nhaa.info) and the NHAA facebook page.

Sincerely,

NHAA Board of Trustees

NHAA 2020 Season Update-03/19/2020

As you are all aware we are amidst a current health crisis here and around the world in relation to COVID-19. Your Board of trustees is actively working together to discuss the upcoming season for 2020. We are making all efforts to hold the season this coming year and are following the recommendations from our local government, as well as CDC, World Health Organization, and Ohio Department of Health. We have decided to push the start of the season out by two weeks with a projected start date of May 4th, 2020. Please know we are making all efforts to get your children on the ball fields this Spring and Summer.

We have decided to keep registration open with out penalty and the late fees will be waived for the remainder of registration. Please take note that registration may close the closer we get to the start of the season to allow ample time to order uniforms. Sign up now before teams fill up.

We realize that these are difficult times, and we all long for a time that we are able to return to a sense of normalcy. However we have a responsibility to you, your children, and this community to protect everyone, while providing a safe environment for them to play. We appreciate your support and patience during this time and we will keep you informed of any changes as they develop. If you have any questions feel free to contact us playnhaa1@gmail.com.

Any updates will be made on the NHAA website (nhaa.info) and the NHAA facebook page.

Sincerely,

NHAA Board of Trustees
