NHAA proudly presents its revamped youth programs for 2024 - available to Nordonia and our surrounding communities!
We have restructured our instructional divisions (Ages 5-8) into distinct age brackets, ensuring personalized coaching and skill-building tailored to each group making the transition into kid pitch more natural.
- Ages 5-6 - Manager Pitch
- Ages 7-8 - Modified Pitch
- Ages 9-18 - Kid Pitch
NHAA has plans to hold comprehensive clinics for all ages - designed to refine your player's Baseball skills prior to the start of the season! Stay tuned for details!
Modified Pitch - important info
If your child is 9 and would like a year in the modified pitch division, before going into the kid-pitch division, please register for their real age group, however, when the question pops up asking if they need a year in modified pitch - please be sure to select yes.
Refer to the 2024 Age Charts, before making adjustments as they may actually be in the modified pitch division per the rules.
Instructional Divisions (Ages 5-8)
The instructional divisions of baseball are designed to aid young boys in their preparation for entering fast-paced kid pitch divisions - for both our recreational and competitive baseball program.
In the Babe Ruth - Manager Pitch Division, players focus on mastering fundamental skills such as throwing, catching, and hitting in a supportive setting, where coaches pitch to facilitate skill development.
As the boys progress into the Roberto Clemente - Modified Pitch Division, they begin to refine their abilities further, transitioning to pitching themselves and learning more advanced techniques in batting and fielding.
Both divisions prioritize skill enhancement, teamwork, and nurturing a love for the sport, providing a solid foundation for a seamless transition to more competitive levels of baseball.
